What Is Paranormal Imaging?

Paranormal imaging is the umbrella term for any method of using cameras or imaging devices to capture visual evidence of ghosts, unexplained figures, light anomalies, or anything thought to fall outside normal visual experience. It covers everything from traditional spirit photography on glass plates to the digital tools used today, as well as experimental approaches like visual ITC.

At its simplest, it's the idea that cameras may reveal things the human eye can't. Sometimes this is down to longer exposures, sensitivity to different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum, or simply the ability to freeze a moment with more clarity than memory. Over more than a century of investigations, that idea has shaped ghost hunting methods and fuelled countless debates about what a camera can and cannot show.
