Introduction to Visual ITC

Instrumental Transcommunication, or ITC, is the idea that technology can act as a bridge between the living and the spirit world. In visual ITC, that bridge is a camera, a screen, or another visual device capable of generating images that some believe spirits can influence.

Visual ITC refers to any method where an image is produced with the expectation that a spirit might alter, appear within, or otherwise interact with it. The methods vary, but the principle stays the same: create a shifting or chaotic visual field, and record it in the hope that meaningful shapes or figures will appear.

Unlike traditional spirit photography, which focuses on capturing the environment as it is, visual ITC deliberately introduces visual noise or instability.
